Product Description : Cobra has been developed as a step up from the Python for more aggressive riding. with the development of longer travel suspension bikes Hutchinson developed a tire that would still roll fast but provide sure footedness and excellent control in more technical and varied conditions. If you live in dryer conditions, this tire is one of the best overall tires I've used. The Piranha's are also excellent yet these tires seem to roll smoother and the tread lasts longer. Enough bite on the sides to keep traction, and they descend well on single track and fire roads very well.History- I have over 20 years of cumulative cycling experience, both road and MTB, racing and pleasure. I've worked in Cycling retailers in the past. I've used nearly every hard pack/lightweight tire out there, and this is by far in the top two. Panaracer Trailblasters used to be my go too do it all tire, but I've made a full switch to Hutchinson from now on. Lighter, smoother rolling, better traction. If you like to mix up your rides a bit and do a little road for a X-training, this is an excellent tire for that purpose as well. I like to mix in about 1/3rd road riding into my MTB cross country rides for a better overall work out.Highly recommended tires. Lightweight, low rolling resistance, good side bite, tread lasts longer than expected, and a good price. I do not and will not use tubeless tires.photographic-central.blogspot.com I use this tire mostly on rough city streets. I've had them on for a about a month. It's a great ride so far.
