If they sized them like shirts, no surfer would wear one because it would be horrible when used for its original purpose.The reason so many people are having size problems is that rashguards were originally made to wear under a wetsuit. They were to prevent rubbing and chafing, which can be a problem with long days of surfing, and they also help improve the warmth to some extent. They need to be very tight, as no one wants to be paddling out and have a loose shirt moving around and creeping up to your armpits, under your wetsuit. The sizings are correct if you use them under a wetsuit. I wear a medium shirt and can wear a medium rashguard just fine, but if you're buying this for a sunshirt or a beach shirt, even if you're playing around in the water, do what everyone suggests and buy one that's a lot larger. If you want it for surfing (even if you're in tropical water and are just using it as a sun protection top) buy the size it lists, or you're likely to find it won't stay down in place, even if you use the loop to fasten it to your trunks. I bought the Oneil Wetsuit Basic Skin Long Sleeve Crew Black, Large for UV protection in the water. I love it. It keeps off the sun without making me hot. Research shows that Black and darker colors provide added UV protection in addition to the UV protection of the material. I bicycled to the pool in it then went swimming in it...excellent performance. I purchased a Large based on the size chart... next time I would go 1 size up. This shirt is a nice basic skin rashguard. It is made from comfortable material and fits nice. The reviews are true that you have to buy a larger size. To help you decide what size I am 5'11" 178lbs,I have a 32" waist and 42" chest. I decided to go with an XXL and it fits perfect. It is a comfortable snug in the chest/arms and loose but snug fit in the waist. Length is fine. I have not worn it yet in the water but other reviews say it loosens up more when wet. I gave this shirt 5 stars because I think the bad reviews are decreasing it's overall rating. However, the rubber around the edge of the sole is peeling off after only a month...seems like some of this shoe was stuck together with Elmers. Unfortunately, after even a week, you can tell that the stitching, glue, or both were not made with durability in mind. I like the look, but due to durability, I wouldn't recommend this shoe.

Nordstrom's Twilight Clothing Revealed Evidently I "pronate" when I run. I'm not going to lie, I have no idea whether I over- or under-pronate, I just know that I run funny. I'm no marathon runner, but I do 5 mile jogs 3-4 times a week, so I need decent shoes.I found these by doing a lot of Googling on "stabilizing" shoes, and I don't intend to ever wear anything else again. (I tried some Mizuno's after a couple pairs of these just for a change, and I definitely regretted it.)My legs aren't constantly sore anymore and I feel like I literally run differently (better!) when I have these on. Which, okay, makes sense because they're kind of oddly shaped shoes. Okay fine, it's probably because they kind of look like platform running shoes. So be it! I love these. And will be buying my 5th pair in the near future.

Spenco(r) PolySorb(r) Cross Trainer Replacement Insoles I have to walk a considerable amount on 12 hour shifts where I work. I had worn through the inserts of my work shoes so bought a set of these Spenco inserts at a local shoe store paying close to $30. They were so uncomfortable! The arch was in the wrong location and the contoured heel was too narrow. Though I had to shorten the length of the inserts to fit into my shoes the proximity of the arch to the heel and the narrow heel seem made for a smaller foot. According to the size chart on the box they should have tended to be too large, not too small, since my foot size was at the low end of the range specified on the box.I had to suffer through one day at work with them on and was in such misery when I got home that I angrily threw them into the trash. I've since bought a set of cheep inserts from the local drug store for $3 and am much happier with them than I was with the Spenco product.

I love my other KEENs and expected to love these too. I was right. They are a little generous in the size, which isn't usually true of KEEN. They look cute and go with anything casual.
